Orchid plants feed on humidity, not on water. They do best in bathrooms and kitchens because of the moisture in the air. They like to be misted regularly.

Watering should be limited to 1/2 cup of water every 7-10 days.

They desire stable temperatures. Don't place your plant near heating vents or cold drafts.
